Because the hardness of the propane o-rings material is the most important index to evaluate the sealing performance, the hardness of the propane o-rings determines the compression capacity of the o-rings and the maximum allowable extrusion gap of the groove. Since the nitrile seal of Shao A70 can meet most of the application conditions, the hardness of the o-ring is closely related to the o-rings standard. When the o-rings is selected, the higher the working pressure is, the smaller the maximum allowable extrusion clearance is. If the clearance exceeds the allowable range, it will result in extrusion or even damage of the o-ring. The general compression ratio is about 20%.
