5. When installing the liquid O-rings as it is, keep the inside of the machine clean. Please do not use cleaning liquid and gasoline to prevent the rubber from swelling.

 

6. When using liquid O-rings and groove size, due to the combination of size tolerance, sagging of groove inner diameter may occur as shown in the figure below. Please do not bite liquid O-rings during installation.

In the sealing device, friction will wear the liquid O-rings and affect the sealing. The degree of wear mainly depends on the size of static friction. When the working fluid is under pressure, the friction increases with the increase of the pressure of the conveying pipeline. When the working pressure is less than 20MPa, it is approximately linear. When the pressure is greater than 20MPa, the increase of liquid O-rings and metal contact area will slow down gradually, and the friction will increase correspondingly.

 

In general, the service life of liquid O-rings is tight with the increase of hydraulic pressure, and the pressure of the transmission pipeline is strictly controlled. The increase of friction in the process of installation results in the heat of friction between the installation rotation and the liquid O-rings. Because most liquid O-rings are made of rubber, their thermal conductivity is very poor. Therefore, friction heat will lead to aging of rubber and loss of liquid O-rings seal.

 

Friction can also cause damage to the surface of the liquid O-rings, reducing the amount of compression. Serious friction will damage the surface of liquid O-rings, and the loss of sealing will affect the safety of pipeline. So friction will seriously affect the liquid O-rings seal.
