Sealing Method And Fading Treatment Method Of Piston Rod Shaft Seal

When the piston rod shaft seal is used in the cylinder or hydraulic cylinder, it is necessary to do a good job of piston rod shaft seal in advance. Piston rod shaft seal grooves are sealed on shafts and rods if they are opened, such as piston seals. If the piston rod shaft seal is not done well, oil leakage will occur, and the opening of the sealing groove will be on the hole, which will affect the normal operation of the piston rod shaft seal. 

Evious sealing methods mainly include O-type sealing ring, narrow cross-section Y-type sealing ring and V-type sealing ring. With the gradual progress of production, the shortcomings are also obvious. Because piston rod shaft seal directly belong to dry friction, the friction resistance is large, which will cause premature wear of equipment, and gradually be eliminated with the development.

In order to solve this problem, a new sealing method has been developed, which is to use a combined seal ring, consisting of two different components, a step-type seal ring plus an O-type seal ring. Such a combination has the characteristics of low friction resistance and wear resistance.

If fading occurs during use, the first thing to check is whether there is a problem with the hydraulic system, such as too high temperature, if contact with low temperature environment is frequent, piston rod shaft seal is prone to problems. When the piston rod shaft seal fades, attention should be paid to various elements for comprehensive treatment.
